Sharjah seizes 2 vehicles carrying 13 tons of prohibited materials

SCM seizes two vehicles carrying 13 tons of prohibited materials
Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has seized two vehicles carrying a large amount of prohibited materials during the periodic inspection of the municipality teams. The 13 tons of seized materials were stored prior to be sold.

Khalid bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Assistant DG for Customer Service said that the SCM intensifies its inspection campaigns to crack down on any negative or illegal behaviors. It also deals with all reports and complaints received through its call center.

In their latest inspection campaign, the inspection teams caught two vehicles carrying illegal materials, one of which was carrying 7201 kg, and the second one was carrying 5210 kg.

The owner of these two vehicles was about to store the illegal materials in a bakery before selling them.
