• We are pleased to announce that the UAE is the leading country in the rate of vaccine distribution, becoming the first country in the world in distributing the COVID-19 vaccine per 100 people. This achievement proves the national vaccination campaign success and the UAE’s anticipation to reach a sustainable recovery.
• For the attendance of any event, or exhibitions, including sports, cultural, social and artistic activities, it will be limited to vaccinated individuals and participants in clinical trials only. Individuals must present a negative PCR result valid for 48 hours maximum prior to the event effective June 6, 2021.
• Additionally, the letter E must be visible in Al Hosn application while adhering to all the precautionary and preventive measures in organizing these events, such as wearing masks and physical distancing.
• More than 78.11% of the total eligible group who are above 16 years have been vaccinated. While 84.59% of the elderly group who are above 60 years and more vulnerable to disease and its complications were inoculated.
• The initial administration of the COVID-19 vaccine supportive dose will be given to the elderly and people with chronic diseases at the first phase, as they are most vulnerable to infection.
• Today, there are more than one type of COVID-19 vaccine with high efficiency available in the country to stem the virus. These vaccines contain inactive or weak particles of the organism that causes the disease or the genetic code that will create the same response and stimulate the immune system.
