Abu Dhabi Police will not send a phone alert ahead of the National Sterilisation Programme

Following approval by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee to launch the National Sterilisation Programme in Abu Dhabi emirate starting from midnight tonight, Abu Dhabi Police will not send a phone alert at the start of the programme.

During programme hours (between midnight and 5am) the public must stay home unless it is absolutely essential to go out, or to get food or medicine.

Radars will be activated during these times, and fines implemented for those liable to ensure the success of the programme in protecting public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19.
