• UAE has adopted a professional approach to addressing the pandemic and has adopted an appropriate action plan that was among the most successful global models of addressing the crisis, also to conducting intensive medical tests & efforts to curb the virus’s spread.
• Vaccines are the key to ending the pandemic, and making them available is a global scientific achievement. The #UAE provides vaccines to citizens and residents free of charge.
• We urge eligible individuals to go to the nearest vaccination centre and take the vaccine, a booster shot if appropriate, and contact health authorities for more information and make an appointment to get vaccinated.
• The successes achieved by the UAE in its battle against COVID-19 are due to the wise vision of the country’s leadership.
• All sectors are cooperating with the health sector with full capacity to continue the ongoing local and international analysis of the pandemic to ensure an immediate response.
• Authorities regularly evaluate resolutions & procedures to ensure they are up to date with the health situation & draft recommendations & measures in a timely manner, and provide information to the society with transparency & periodic updates on a proactive basis.
• Based on the developments of the pandemic and the decrease in the number of infections in the country, the media briefing for the UAE government will now take place every two weeks, to provide the latest developments in the Covid-19 pandemic.
