Al Wasl top ADNOC Pro League table after 1-0 win over Sharjah

A goal from Gilberto Oliveira was the difference for Al Wasl in a 1-0 away win over leaders Sharjah in a dramatic encounter at Sharjah Stadium in matchweek six of the ADNOC Pro League on Sunday.

Ten minutes after the hour-mark, Gilberto Oliveira made the difference for the visitors with a sublime strike into the bottom corner of the net, securing three points for Al Wasl.

This was Sharjah’s first League defeat of the season, which left them within a point of the top spot in the League table.

The result means Al Wasl are at the top of the League table, with 14 points, while Sharjah stay second with 13 points.
