For your safety… Beware of these violations during rainy weathers

In accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (178) of 2017, the Ministry of Interior has adopted a set of traffic control rules and procedures regarding the gathering near valleys, floods, and dams during rainy weather.

These rules and procedures include imposing a fine of AED 1000 and six traffic points for gathering nearby such places.

The law also imposes a fine of AED 2000, 23 traffic points, and the impoundment of vehicles for up to 60 days for entering valleys while they are flowing, regardless of the level of danger.

A fine of AED 1000, 4 traffic points, and impoundment of the vehicle for a period of 60 days will also be imposed for obstructing the competent authorities from carrying out their work regarding regulating traffic, ambulance, or rescue teams.
