UAE participates in 128th session of Permanent Council of the Francophonie

Dr Salem Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to the International Organisation of La Francophonie, participated in the meeting of the 128th session of the Permanent Council of the Francophonie, which was held in the French capital, Paris, under the chairmanship of Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the Organisation, and in the presence of state representatives and member states.

The meetings addressed several topics of mutual interest among the francophone space, in addition to adopting a number of preparatory projects for the upcoming 19th Francophonie Summit, which will be hosted by France in October.

Notably, the UAE is participating as an associate member in all meetings of the Francophonie organisation conducted among senior officials, ministers, and summit-level participants, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to the importance of multilateral Francophonie cooperation, and its desire to strengthen its distinguished relations with the French-speaking world.
