Abu Dhabi: Four students injured in a light vehicle and a school bus collision

Four students were slightly injured in a collision Thursday morning between a light vehicle and a school bus on Sheikh Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi, facing the exit leading to the Al Maqtaa Bridge. Two other accidents resulted involving two vehicles in the same direction resulted, no injuries were reported.

The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols in the Central Operations Sector of Abu Dhabi Police stated that preliminary investigations showed that the cause of the accident was a sudden stop and not leaving sufficient safety distance. The Directorate called on the drivers to commit to leaving sufficient safety distance behind the vehicles, and paying attention to avoid the surprises of the road.
