Unemployed Gulf man on trial for forging a death certificate

50-years-old Unemployed Gulf man forged an official death certificate and presented it with the assistance of his uncle, his father, and his wife to the bank to evade payment a loan of AED 700,000 that he obtained from a bank.

Dubai Public Prosecution Investigations revealed that the accused was convicted of one of the crimes in 2008 and as a result of that he was terminated from his military work, so he left the country after he obtained a loan of AED 700,000 from a bank. He wanted to evade payment, so he asked his Asian uncle to forge him a death certificate, which he testified from the consulate in that country, then the accused’s father traveled to him and received the certificate and returned it to the country and presented it to the bank to drop the loan.
