A funeral prayer in absentia for the late Sultan Qaboos to be held in all UAE mosques

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President ordered funeral prayer in absentia upon the late Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed to be held in all the country’s mosques after Maghrib prayer today, Saturday 11 January.

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent Cable of Condolences to his brother His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed, the new Sultan of Oman, in which he expressed his sincere condolences on the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed, and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless him with mercy in Paradise.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, sent two similar Cables of Condolences to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed.
