MOHAP reports 277 new coronavirus cases

During the press briefing on the developments of the precautionary measures to prevent “Corona”, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, the official spokesman for the health sector in the country reports 277 new cases of coronavirus who were detected through screening those who were in contact with previously reported cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 2,076.

The full recovery of 23 patients from the symptoms of the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 167, and the death of a an Asian man due to Coronavirus, bringing the total number of of deaths cases in UAE to 11.

Corona virus mainly lives in the respiratory system and not in the blood, so it is very unlikely that the virus may transmit through insects or mosquito bites, Al Hosani added.
