Get to know the latest decisions by Abu Dhabi Executive Council on tourism and schools

Abu Dhabi Executive adopted Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK)’s proposal to launch a new model of private schools in Abu Dhabi with annual fees ranging between 20,000 and 30,000 Dhs. as of September 2018, with the aim of providing affordable school tuitions for all levels of society.

Abu Dhabi Executive also approved the proposal of the Department of Culture and Tourism to reduce tourist fees from 6% to 3.5%, and municipal fees from 4% to 2%. In addition to the municipality’s rooms fee from 15 to 10 Dhs. per night. Fees are to be collected semi-annually, attracting investors and raising the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi.
