The transfer of a group of schools to distance learning system

Ministry of Education and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority announce the transfer of a group of schools in different emirates to the “distance learning” system, after suspecting cases among the stuff who had undergone “COVID-19” tests. These schools shall undertake the distance learning approach as a precautionary measure until the laboratory tests results are reported. 

The authorities stressed that parents will be directly contacted by the school administration to brief on all developments on the learning system and the health status.

The Ministry of Education and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority urges all staff, students and parents to disclose about any suspected cases, direct contact with a confirmed COVID-19 cases or the appearance of any symptoms in order to limit the spread of the virus and to ensure the health and safety of all.

The public is urged to refrain from spreading any rumours and to respect the privacy of the individuals. Information must be obtained from official sources to avoid legal implications.
