A Gulf man on trial for kidnapping his female cousin

Dubai Public Prosecution has referred a Gulf man to the Criminal Court on the charges of kidnapping his female cousin by coercion and invading privacy.

The defendant was informed that she was bringing a foreign man into her room, so he broke into the house of the victim’s family, threatened them with an offensive weapon, and kidnapped her to an isolated area to interrogate her about the truth of the story.
