Dubai is among the top spots in the world to watch this month’s lunar eclipse

Dubai has been featured in Time magazine as one of the top 5 places in the world to watch the world’s longest-running lunar eclipse in the 21st century.

Dubai has many beautiful coastal areas, such as Kite Beach and The Palm. The eclipse can be seen from other parts of Dubai, such as the circle village of Jumeirah, or from a room in a hotel, the magazine said.

Other viewing spots in the world include Cario, Santorini, Limassol and Harare in Zimbabwe.

The eclipse will begin at 11.30pm local time on Friday, July 27 and last until 1.13am on Saturday, July 28.
