Legal amendments to grant the Emirati nationality and passport

Under the directives of the UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai has announced legal amendments to grant the Emirati nationality and passport to some categories.

• Under the directives of the UAE President, we approved today legal amendments that allow granting the Emirati nationality and passport to investors, talented and specialists including scientists, doctors, engineers, artists, intellectuals and their families. The goal is to retain, attract and stabilize the minds that contribute strongly to our development process.
