Dubai Police honors Careem Driver for Returning AED 900,000

The Dubai Police have recently honored Mohammad Orfan Mohammad Rafeeq, a Creem driver, for his honesty as he handed over AED 900,000 cash left behind by a passenger to the Bur Dubai Police Station.  

Brigadier Abdullah Khadim Sorour, Director of Bur Dubai Police Station, praised Mr Rafeeq for honesty and for handing over the large sum to the nearest police station.

Brig. Sorour also honored Mr Rafeeq with a certificate of appreciation, to emphasize the importance of collaboration between the community and police.

Brig Sorour reaffirmed Dubai Police’s keenness on strengthening the concept of community partnership and reinforcing the sense of responsibility among individuals. Mr Rafeeq thanked the Dubai Police for honoring him and expressed that this honour gives him great pride and joy.
