H.E. Saeed Al Nazari, Director General of the Federal Youth Authority:
• We call on our youth to vaccinate, which will have a positive effect on society by breaking the chain of infection, and maintaining UAE’s achievements in combating Covid-19.
• The Youth must continue to adhere and commit to the to the laws & guidelines after vaccinating, in order to achieve full recovery. Abiding by the rules is an individual responsibility & a national obligation.
• UAE’s Youth, armed with Zayed’s values, support UAE in managing emergencies & crises & preventing pandemics. They make-up a major factor in handling the pandemic, & are the social group backed by knowledge, training & skills necessary to face challenges.
• The Youth must realize the pivotal role they play in this unique phase that society is going through. They must work to utilize their time and skills in serving the nation’s causes.
• The Authority works on hundreds of activities and events to develop the potential of youth in various fields, whether in professional preparation, modern technologies, the arts, or other fields.
• During the pandemic, the Authority provided more than 500 remote activities & events working with 190 entities from government & private sectors, helping more than 30,000 young men & women, as they were able to acquire new abilities.
• We worked on a set of initiatives, and provided 100 ways to invest in the youth’s energies remotely, whether through development programs, competitions, business incubators, or scholarships.
• We have collected our different initiatives in one platform enabling every young man & woman to benefit and invest in themselves.
• As well as the possibility to benefit from the Authority’s mental health platform to help in adopting daily habits that promote mental health.
• We call on youth to adopt habits that may promotes mental health, like allocating some time daily to communicate with family, organizing tasks and priorities and communicating with specialist in the field of Psychology.
• During the crisis, youth volunteers exceeded 50,000. Working to serve the community, through various places & time; whether in hospitals, quarantines, testing centres, airports, ports, and malls and via various campaigns.
• In light of the current global challenges and the spread of the pandemic at an accelerated pace, the responsibility of #UAE’s youth to protect society increases.
• We are confident that the youth have the power to overcome the crisis and find practical solutions to contribute together in building a healthy and strong Emirati society.
•The UAE’s youth are capable of providing comprehensive & integrated health care for all of society in innovative & sustainable ways, & of contributing in providing the highest levels of health care as per the international standards for quality.
