Sharjah Private Education Authority issues a circular on schools return

Sharjah Private Education Authority issued a circular to private school principals in the emirate on schools return, which includes:

• All employees and students aged 12 years and above are required to obtain a negative PCR test to enter the educational institution at the beginning of the new academic year.

• All employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the educational institution. Those exempt from taking the vaccine and have a medical report must perform a weekly PCR test.

• Non- vaccinated new employees coming from outside the UAE are given two months exception to take the vaccine and must perform a weekly PCR test.

• Vaccination is not mandatory for students to enter the educational institutions so far; only a negative PCR test at the beginning of the academic year is required.
