During media briefing.. MOHAP issues manuals for booster shots based on vaccine type

Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, the spokesperson for the health sector in the UAE:

• Studies have proven that vaccinations, in their basic and booster doses, significantly help reduce the risk of disease complications and deaths. As well as its essential role in preventing the appearance of new variants.

• We advise the eligible individuals to take the booster doses in order to protect them, especially the elderly and those with chronic diseases.

• The Ministry of Health has issued manuals to booster doses for COVID-19 vaccines, whereby all eligible individuals are advised to take the booster dose 6 months after the second basic dose.
