FAHR issues a circular regarding remote work flexibility for federal government employees on Friday

The “Federal Human Resources” has issued a circular regarding remote work flexibility for federal government employees on Friday and identified a set of controls that ministries and federal entities should adhere to, including:

• The job and the employee who occupies the job should fulfil the conditions and controls of the remote work system in the federal government.

• The federal entity determines the appropriate jobs that can be done remotely, after coordination with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

• The employee must obtain prior approval for remote work on Friday from the direct manager in coordination with the director of the department and the entity’s human resources department.

•70% of the total employees of the federal entity must be available to ensure the continuity of providing services to the customers.
