H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, chaired the meeting of the council on Tuesday in the office of H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah.
During the meeting, a number of government issues related to the development and improving services in all fields in Sharjah; and decisions and laws align with the city’s visions, were discussed.
Sharjah Executive Council issued a decision regulating the use of agricultural lands in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The council also issued a decision regarding the formation of the Higher Committee of the Police Force, Security and Safety in the Emirate of Sharjah, headed by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and the membership of a number of police leaders in the Emirate.
The council approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Sharjah Police General Command and Etihad Rail, to enhance strategic cooperation between the two parties and achieve common interests through the exchange of expertise and practical experiences and raising the level of security readiness in all fields.
SEC reviewed a presentation by the Sharjah Sports Council on Sharjah winning the Arab Sports Culture Federation Award in the category of Arab Sports Culture Capital, for sponsoring and organising many sports and cultural activities and tournaments specialised in women’s sports.
