Umm Al Quwain: Young Emirati driver loses his life in racing accident

A 23-year-old Emarati man lost his life Friday night during a race that ended tragically on the racetrack of Emirates Motorplex in UAQ.

Colonel Saeed Obaid bin Aran, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, stated that the operations department received a report of the accident at 10:15 PM. Immediately after the report was received, teams and patrols were dispatched. It was revealed that the accident is a result of a race between two vehicles, resulting in the deceased vehicle’s deviation off the road where it eventually bumped a barrier on the side of the road.

The deceased was transferred to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Umm Al Quwain and his body was handed over to his family for burial.
