RAK Ruler arrives in Amman to participate in 2nd Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, arrived today at Queen Alia International Airport leading the UAE’s delegation for the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which is taking place today in Jordan, along with regional and international participation.

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah was received by H.R.H. Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of Jordan; Jordan’s Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh; serval ministers, and a number of senior Jordanian officials.

Sheikh Saud is accompanied by a delegation that includes Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, and Humaid Obaid Khalifa Abu Shabas, President of the Supreme Audit Institution.

Upon arrival, Sheikh Saud was accorded an official reception where the UAE and Jordan national anthems were played.

Sheikh Saud and the Crown Prince of Jordan also exchanged cordial talks that mirror the strong fraternal ties between the two countries.
