For first time, Türkiye to host 10th round of UAE President Cup for Purebred Arabian Classic Series Sunday

In a first for the country, the Veliefendi Racecourse in Istanbul, Türkiye, will host the 10th leg of the 31st UAE President Cup for Purebred Arabian Classic Series. The round will feature 12 purebred Arabians, aged 4 and above, competing in a 1,600-metre race.

The series, held under the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, aims to promote the ownership and care of purebred Arabian horses, enhancing their presence in major global festivals and races, and preserving their noble heritage.

Faisal Al Rahmani, General Supervisor of the UAE President’s Cup World Series for Purebred Arabian Horses, said that organising the event in the Republic of Türkiye for the first time highlights His Highness Sheikh Mansour’s strong dedication to supporting Arabian horse owners and breeders worldwide.

The event, he indicated, also underscores the flourishing bilateral relations between the two countries and their shared bonds of friendship.
