Sheikha Fatima: Teachers architects of nation’s progress

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), said that teachers are the cornerstone of building the nation.

“Teachers are the architects of the nation’s progress.Through their knowledge and practices, the civilizations of nations are measured, and the homeland flourishes. With their effort, dedication, and at their hands, generations of the nation are formed,” Her Highness said on the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day.

“We are pleased in the United Arab Emirates to celebrate male and female teachers as the beacon of knowledge that illuminates the path for future generations. Their significant role in upbringing, education, and enlightening minds makes them the custodians of our country’s progress, elevation, and status among nations.”

Her Highness added: “We will always be grateful to every teacher. You have made a significant difference in the lives of our children, and we always thank you.”
