Launching new vehicle plate numbers in Sharjah

Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kay, the head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, recently revealed that new vehicle number plates will be introduced to reflect the updated identity of Sharjah. Starting on Monday, March 3, 2025, customers will have the opportunity to exchange their old number plates for the new design.

Al Kay announced, “To align with the new image of Sharjah, we have introduced new vehicle license plates in the emirate.”
