Dubai: GCC National gets life sentence for harassing his female friend

The Dubai Criminal Court  sentenced a GCC national to life imprisonment yesterday, after he was convicted of sexually assaulting his 23-year-old Arab friend. The accused took advantage of their friendship and invited her to his home pretending that he wants to discuss a problem she had with a mutual friend.

However, when she came to his house he locked her in his bedroom, harassed her, photographed her, and threatened to expose her to her family. While beating and assaulting her, her mother called and he threatened to answer the phone and tell her mother that she was with him if she did not do what he asked.
