The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced two 34-year-old men to one year in prison and deportation from the country for sexually abusing a three-year-old child and seducing him with money.
The victim, stated in the prosecution’s investigation, that he frequently visited his friend’s house nearby. The first defendant, who lives in the same building, met with the latter and asked him if he was good at driving and offered to let him use his vehicle to try driving, but he sexually abused him instead after taking him to an abandoned area.
The child added that the defendant met him again after three weeks, apologized to him for his first act, and asked him to accompany him to prove his good intentions, and then repeated the act again, pointing out that he was drawn later also, to meet him a fourth time while leaving the mosque, the child asked him to leave him alone, and told his brother about the incident. The victim’s brother told his father, who informed the police.
An investigation was done to determine the identity of the first defendant, who was impersonating another person when he met the child and was brought to the station. Faced with the incident, he admitted without compulsion that he had abused the child more than five times, after he tempted him by offering to teach him to drive the car, and the second defendant confessed to the charges.
