Fujairah: GCC national gets death penalty for raping 13-year-old

Fujairah Criminal Court has sentenced a GCC man to death for raping a 13-year-old minor, of Arab nationality multiple times.

The case was filed by the mother of the victim after her scared child told her about a man who lured him to his vehicle and raped him several times.

Immediately after the complaint was received, the suspect was arrested and interrogated. After the investigation, the man was found guilty and was referred to the Public Prosecution, which charged him with sexual assault and ordered to refer him to the Criminal Court.

The court had subjected the victim to forensics to ensure the validity of the case. The medical report confirmed that the boy had been repeatedly raped, and the court issued its decision to execute the defendant.

The defendant confirmed during the previous sessions that the victim willingly went with him in his private car.
