50% of drug addiction starts in this age

About 50 % of drug addicts start under the age of 18 according to UAE’s National Rehabilitation center.
Latest stats issued by the center revealed that trying to recover of anxiety, depression and curiosity are the main motivation to start drug addiction.
According to the report, there were 2.64% of addicts treated were under the age of 20, while 45.96 % were from 20 to 29-year-old. 29.21% were the addicts between the age of 30 to 29, and 14.25% between 40 to 49 and the people between the age of 50 to 59 represent 6.52%.
Bachelors were the main category of drug addicts with 59.7% while married people were 32.45% and divorced were 6.99%.
