Al Ain: Six Pakistani nationals lose their lives in tragic fire

Six people of Pakistani nationality, including 4 from one family died after a fire broke out in their home in the area of ​​Zakher in Al Ain city on Friday. Concerned authorities are currently investigating the causes behind the fire. The fire site also contained flammable materials.

The tragic fire resulted in the death of a father, in his 50’s, two of his sons, their cousin, -all in their twenties- and two family friends, while one person managed to escape and survive the fire named Mohammed Rahim, 50 years.

Mohammed Rahim, said that they all went to the bathroom, where he broke one of the aluminium roof panels to put out his head to breathe. He said he only suffered a minor burn in the hand and foot and left the hospital after receiving treatment.
