Money forging gang caught by Sharjah Police

Sharjah Police has arrested a gang of Asian men who were promoting fake Emirati currency on groceries and petrol stations. Police identified the gang and seized counterfeit currency worth Dh45,500.

The gang tried to promote the counterfeit currency (of AED 100 and 200) in grocery stores and petrol stations in the emirate.

The Sharjah Police General Command therefore urges the public to cooperate with them by reporting any negative phenomena that may harm their safety, the safety of their families and their money.
