Al Ain: Four dead, one injured after a two-car collision

Four people died and one sustained a minor injury due to a two-car collision and deterioration in Al Nasiriyah area of ​​Al Ain city. One of the cars collided with a lighting pole, leading to the driver’s death along with the passenger, while the other vehicle hit two women who were crossing the street.

Brigadier Salim bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Director of Al Ain Traffic Department at the Central Operations and Traffic Directorate, stated that preliminary investigations attributed the accident to two people racing in the street, causing the vehicles to crash and lose control.

Al Dhaheri called on the users of the road to abide by the traffic laws and regulations, and the allowable speeds to preserve public safety.
